Amanda Raude  

My name is Amanda Raude and I graduated from Florida International University in August 2016 with a Bachelors in Arts and Science in Psychology as well as a Bachelors in Arts in Science in Women & Gender Studies. I'm a Cuban-American citizen, born and raised in Miami, Florida. For as long as I can remember I've always felt like I was good at understanding people and being able to relate to them. I've always had this urge inside of me to help those who need it most. I want to be a friend to all that need my support and friendship. I want to understand people I am unfamiliar with and be able to travel and see the world to experience culture and gain perspective. 

I've also always been very passionate about social issues regarding women and gender matters. I want to be the voice for those who are too afraid to speak. I want to give a voice to those who cannot be heard, no matter how hard they try. I want to educate those who are willing to see change and I want to encourage those people to be the change.
