As an FIU student, I am proud to say I am "World's Ahead". I believe it is important to understand the world and it's complexities. The key to understanding people is understanding where they come from. Having the opportunity to further educate myself with classes that promote diversity and culture has encouraged me to want to venture off and help others from all around the world. I feel that it is important to gain perspective in order to be able to relate to people, which I think will benefit me personally as well as professionally.
